What you will learn
The new version of ISO/IEC 27001 was recently published and is now aligned with the new version of ISO/IEC 27002, published in February 2022. The major changes between ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 concern the information security measures in Annex A, while a few other minor changes are also present in the clauses of the standard. In addition, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 differs from ISO/IEC 27001:2013 in that the standard is now entitled Information security, cybersecurity and privacy - Information security management systems - Requirements.
Training "PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Transition provides detailed information on the revised clauses, new terminology, and differences in Annex A measures. In addition, this course provides participants with the knowledge to support organizations in planning and implementing changes to their ISMS to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022. As a result, you will be able to participate in projects involving the transition from an ISMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 to an ISMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
Once you have familiarised yourself with the new concepts and requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard by following the training course, you can sit the exam and, if you pass, you can apply for certification.
