Description
A combination of all Foundations Certifications level 100 courses. (CSA 1+2, CITP, CHT+COST and CNP). Extremely suitable for teaching students a broad basic knowledge of IT in self-study or in a classroom context and for demonstrating the knowledge with the associated certifications. Each course has its own Mile2 exam and certification and each course also has a free second shot exam voucher. Useful in programs and traineeships!

Security Awareness 1
Perfect for beginners to information security. This course covers key principles for keeping your electronic information secure.
Security Awareness 2
Network knowledge is necessary to secure any information system where more than one device has access to the information. Learn how virtual and server based networks are managed and maintained.
IT Principles
The C)ITP certification is excellent for secondary or post-secondary students wanting to pursue a career in IT or professionals considering a career change or simply for a broader understanding of IT.
Hardware Technician
The C)HT will also provide an understanding of the fundamentals of networking and security/forensics; properly and safely diagnosing, resolving, and documenting common issues; as well as applying troubleshooting skills.
Operating Systems Technician
The Certified Operating Systems Technician, C)OST course builds on the C)HT course by focusing on operating systems; this includes installing, configuring and maintaining devices, PCs, and software for end users; understanding the basics of networking and security/forensics from the operating system view.
Network Principles
The Network knowledge is necessary to secure any information system where more than one device has access to the information. Learn how virtual and server based networks are managed and maintained.
Goal
After completing this series of training courses, the student will have broad knowledge at foundational IT level. After this, you can further specialize in one of the roles defined on the Mile2 roadmap or in another IT direction with certifications from alternative vendors such as Microsoft, ISTQB, etc.
