Given the increasing number of disruptions and the unpredictability of disasters of all kinds (natural, occupational, information security), organisations are now aiming to achieve ISO 22301 certification to demonstrate their commitment to business continuity and to ensure that disruptive incidents are detected and dealt with correctly, enabling continuous improvement of the management system. By becoming a PECB certified auditor, you will receive formal and independent recognition of your personal competence and you will be able to carry out SMCA audits for a certification body.
PECB has designed the ISO 22301 Lead Auditor course, recognising the importance of an effective audit and the means used to carry it out. By taking part in this course, you will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to plan and carry out audits in accordance with ISO 19011 and the certification process in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1.
Through interactive sessions, explanatory information, exercises and discussion questions, you will gain knowledge of the business continuity management system and audit techniques and become proficient in carrying out a BCMS audit using widely recognised audit principles, procedures and techniques, and in managing an audit programme and an audit team.
