Examination "PECB Certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer complies with the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (PEC). The examination covers the following areas of competence: Duration: 3 hours

Training objectives

At the end of this course, participants will be able to : 

  • Explain the fundamental concepts and principles of a business continuity management system (BCMS) based on ISO 22301
  • Interpreting the requirements of ISO 22301 for an SMCA from the point of view of an implementer
  • Initiating and planning the implementation of an SMCA based on ISO 22301, using PECB's IMS2 methodology and other best practices 
  • Supporting an organisation in the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of an SMCA based on ISO 22301
  • Preparing an organisation for a third-party certification audit

Training prerequisites

A good knowledge of ISO 22301 and an in-depth understanding of the principles behind its implementation.
