What you will learn
Disasters, which can have natural, human or technological causes, significantly affect an organisation's ability to achieve its objectives. Furthermore, the operations of many organisations will be threatened as a result of disasters if they fail to respond or recover adequately. For this reason, organisations must strive to develop their capabilities to prevent, anticipate, manage and recover effectively from disasters through well-planned and tested Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs).
Training PECB Certified Lead Disaster Recovery Manager offers an approach to managing a disaster recovery planning project and developing and implementing a disaster recovery plan in the field of information and communications technology (ICT). It enables participants to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to analyse the incident response plan, the contingency plan and the crisis management plan, as well as to carry out disaster recovery tests and take the necessary performance measures. By attending this course, you will be introduced to disaster recovery best practice and learn how to carry out a risk assessment and business impact analysis (BIA) for disaster recovery.
At the end of the course, you can register to take the exam. If you pass the exam, you can apply for the "PECB Certified Lead Disaster Recovery Manager. This certification will demonstrate that you have the professional knowledge and ability to support and lead disaster recovery teams in implementing best practice disaster recovery strategies.

Day 5: Certification exam
Examination "PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Auditor fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (ECP). The examination covers the following areas of competence: Duration: 3 hours
- Area 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of a privacy management system (PIMS)
- Area 2: Privacy management system (PIMS) requirements
- Area 3: Fundamental audit concepts and principles
- Area 4: Preparing for an ISO/IEC 27701 audit
- Area 5: Carrying out an ISO/IEC 27701 audit
- Area 6: Completion of an ISO/IEC 27701 audit
- Area 7: Managing an ISO/IEC 27701 audit programme
