Day 1
Day 1 - The Morning
- Objectives and organisation of the course.
- Presentation of OSINT: definitions, principles, challenges and limitations.
- Intelligence cycle applied to OSINT: planning, collection, processing, dissemination.
- Legal and ethical framework: regulations, RGPD, OPSEC (operational security).
- An overview of open sources: web, media, social networks, public registers, specialist databases.

Day 1 - The Afternoon
- OSINT research methodologies: structuring an investigation.
- Advanced search engines (Google Dorks, filters, logical operators).
- Introduction to automated data collection: presentation of scripts, crawlers and open source tools.
- Putting it into practice: first guided exercises in gathering information from open sources.

Day 2
Day 2 - The Morning
- Exploring social networks (Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram).
- Extraction and analysis of metadata (images, documents, files).
- Public databases and registries (Whois, DNS, data leakage databases).
- Monitoring the dark web and deep web: opportunities and precautions.

Day 2 - The Afternoon
- Presentation and advanced use of OSINT tools: Maltego, SpiderFoot, theHarvester, Shodan.
- Multiple data collection and correlation.
- Introduction to the use of artificial intelligence to filter and analyse OSINT data.
- Practical case study: guided investigation of a real-life scenario (fraud, phishing, cybercrime).

Day 3
Day 3 - Morning
- Structuring an OSINT service within an organisation.
- Integration of OSINT into a cybersecurity process (SOC, CERT, Threat Intelligence).
- Reporting and analysis methods: from raw data to usable information.
- Practical exercises: setting up a targeted watch on a defined perimeter.

Day 3 - Afternoon
- Case study: end-to-end OSINT investigation (collection, analysis, correlation, reporting).
- Practical group workshop: identifying threats or players from open data.
- Best practice in disseminating information and communicating to decision-makers.
- Closing and final assessment.
- Attendance certificates are handed out and participants evaluate the course.
