ISO 9001 Foundations certification is intended for :

What you will learn
ISO 9001 Foundations is a two-day course that focuses on the concepts of quality and quality management, and provides a general explanation of the requirements of ISO 9001 for a quality management system (QMS). This course will familiarise you with the various aspects of a QMS in accordance with ISO 9001, such as the role of top management, risks and opportunities, quality policy, the processes that shape product and service delivery activities, performance evaluation requirements and the importance of continual improvement.
Once you have completed the training, you can sit the exam. If you pass the exam, you can apply for certification. "Certificate Holder in ISO 9001 Foundation. This certificate demonstrates that you have a general knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001 for a QMS and enables you to take part in QMS implementation projects.
Training programme
- Duration: 2 days
Day 1 : Introduction to the concepts of quality, the QMS and clauses 4 to 6 of ISO 9001
Day 2 : Clauses 7 to 10 of ISO 9001 and the certification examination
Training review
The exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). It covers the following areas of competence: Duration: 1 hour
- Area 1: Fundamental concepts and principles of quality management and a QMS in accordance with ISO 9001
- Area 2: Requirements of ISO 9001 for a quality management system - Clauses 4 to 10
Training objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be able to :
- Describe the concepts, principles and definitions of quality management
- Explain the main requirements of ISO 9001 relating to a quality management system
- Identify possible actions and approaches that organisations can use to comply with the ISO 9001 standard
