ISC2, the International Information System Security Certification Consortium, is the world's leading professional association dedicated to cybersecurity experts. Its members and certified associates advance the profession around a shared vision: a safe and secure cyberspace.
As security incidents multiply and European regulations such as NIS2, DORA, and GDPR impose growing requirements on organizations, ISC2 certifications have become industry benchmarks. The best known, starting with CISSP, allow professionals to demonstrate their skills to employers worldwide.
Which certification fits your profile
The deciding factor isn't the subject matter, it's the required professional experience. The table below ranks the six certifications from most accessible to most demanding.

An important nuance that often changes the answer: the required experience is cumulative, counted across only one or two domains depending on the certification, not the entire framework. Many professionals already meet the requirement without realizing it.
The eligibility question deserves to be asked first
Every ISC2 certification has a professional experience requirement, and it's this requirement that disqualifies the most candidates, often wrongly. For CISSP, for example, the requirement is five cumulative years across just two of the eight domains, not the entire body of knowledge. A network engineer who has also managed access controls may already meet it.
Rules vary between certifications: equivalencies granted for certain degrees or certifications, how part-time experience is counted, and a transitional status when the required duration hasn't yet been reached. These rules are hard to interpret on their own.

Why train with us
Instructors who work in the field
Our instructors work in audit and consulting the rest of the year. The course draws on examples from real-world engagements, not textbook cases.
At Campus Cyber
In Paris La Défense, within France's leading cyber ecosystem. In person, remote, or on-site at your company.
Supported all the way through
Passing the exam isn't enough: ISC2 then requires validation of your experience. We support you through this step after the course.
In French or English
Sessions are delivered in the language of your choice, using official ISC2 materials, which, like the exams, are in English.
Deliberately small groups
The official programs are dense. A small group size means one participant's question benefits the group instead of slowing it down.
A cyber operator, not just a training organization
ACG Cybersecurity is PASSI-qualified by ANSSI and ISO 27001 certified. We train people for the work we actually do.
Funding
Our advisors will help you choose the certification best suited to your profile and find the financing solution best adapted to your situation
Important information: our courses are not listed in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (RNCP), but they do comply with the requirements of the Répertoire Spécifique (RS). ACG Cybersecurity has obtained Qualiopi certification under the training actions category.
ISC2, CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, CGRC, SSCP and CC are registered trademarks of ISC2, Inc.
