What you will learn
The PECB Certified ISO 45001 Foundation course introduces the basics of occupational health and safety and provides a comprehensive overview of the requirements of ISO 45001 for an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS). By attending this course, you will be able to understand the different aspects of an OHSMS based on ISO 45001, including the commitment of an organization's management, worker participation, OHS policy, planning and operational measures, emergency preparedness and response, performance evaluation and continual improvement.
The course ends with an examination. If you pass the exam, you can apply for certification. "PECB Certified ISO 45001 Foundation. An internationally recognised "PECB ISO 45001 Foundation" certificate validates your professional skills and demonstrates your ability to participate in an OHSMS implementation project.
Training programme
- Duration: 2 days
Day 1 : Introduction to ISO/IEC 38500 IT governance practices
Day 2 : IT governance principles and certification exam
Training review
The PECB ISO 45001 Foundation certification exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). The examination covers the following areas of competence: Duration: 1 hour
- Area 1: Fundamental concepts and principles of occupational health and safety management and SMSST
- Area 2: ISO 45001 requirements for an OHSMS - Articles 4 to 10
