What you will learn
ISO 45001 is the world's first occupational health and safety management system standard, replacing OHSAS 18001. The PECB Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor course helps to develop the skills needed to carry out occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) audits by applying widely recognised audit principles, procedures and methods.
This course has been designed to reflect the importance of an effective audit. It reinforces your knowledge and skills in planning and carrying out an occupational health and safety management system audit, in accordance with the guidelines for auditing management systems provided in ISO 19011 and the certification process described in ISO/IEC 17021-1.
The exercises provided in this course are designed to help you practice the most important aspects of an OHSMS audit, including: ISO 45001 requirements, audit principles, tools and techniques used to obtain evidence, leading a team of auditors, conducting auditee interviews, reviewing documented information, writing non-conformance reports and preparing the final audit report.
This training is followed by an examination. If you pass the exam, you can apply for certification. "PECB Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor. A PECB ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certificate, accredited by the IAS and internationally recognised, validates your professional abilities and demonstrates that you have the knowledge and skills required to audit an OHSMS in accordance with the 45001 standard.

Examination PECB Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (ECP). It covers the following areas of competence:

Training objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be able to :

- Assess the conformity of the SMSST with the requirements of ISO 45001, in accordance with the concepts and fundamental principles of auditing
- Plan, carry out and complete an ISO 45001 compliance audit, in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1, the guidelines of ISO 19011 and other best audit practices
- Managing an audit programme in accordance with ISO 45001
Training prerequisites
A good knowledge of the ISO 14001 standard and an in-depth understanding of auditing principles.
